Tips for getting started in your account

  1. Become familiar with all the tabs and subtabs within your client portal. Look through and read descriptions for what information is contained in each element that you may want to be able to view and possibly update.  

  2. If you need assistance, go to the Help tab to find the FAQ and Resources subtabs. The information provided may be able to help you resolve your issue.

  3. If you need further help, click Contact Us. It will take you back to the Cases subtab where you can create a Case for HealthEquity to investigate and help you resolve the issue. 

Update your account

To update your carrier or plans, click the Health Plans tab, select the subtab for what you want to update (e.g., carrier, plans, rates, etc.), and go directly to update your details. 

If you need to update your contacts, select the Employer Set Up tab and then select the Contacts subtab. You can also create divisions by clicking the Divisions subtab.  

Notifications and messages

You will receive monthly reports (e.g., invoices, premium statements, etc.) automatically. You’ll receive your standard eligibility report containing the information you have provided it.  

Change account and report preferences  

If you need to change account preferences, go to the Employer Setup tab, and then select from the subtabs. The overview on each will provide you with which details you can update within that subtab.  

To change report preferences, click on the Reports tab. The subtabs will provide you with a breakdown of all the reports you can get. Generally, the Scheduled Reports subtab is where you will make the most updates on the reports that you are receiving. You can make updates to who receives those reports and in what format.  

Create a support case

If you aren’t able to resolve an issue within your portal, you can create a case by clicking on the Home tab and selecting the Case subtab. This will allow you to request HealthEquity help you resolve the issue. 

Benefit statements  

Benefit statements are under the Reports tab. After selecting the Monthly Reports subtab, you’ll be able to see all the statements and invoices in your reporting. You can save and print out any of the reports that you need here.
